Resume is written in third person.
Any good resume writer knows that resumes should not be written in third
person. What was surprising in the research was how many decision-makers
mentioned third-person resumes and how vocal they were in their irritation over
this resume affectation. Third-person resumes comprised one of most frequently
mentioned peeves in the survey. That finding suggests that employers and
recruiters see plenty of these resumes.
